Harp Lessons

PRIVATE LESSONS

Enjoy one-on-one private lessons with Alison. Get the most of her experience in a one-hour lesson. These lessons are for ages 6 through 99!

DUET LESSONS

Play the harp with a friend! Class time is 1.5 hours. That time is divided into 30 min private lesson for each person with a 30 min duet lesson in the middle.

ENSEMBLE SESSIONS

These sessions are for current students who are preparing for ensemble performances. Ensemble performances happen several times a year.

Harp Fundamental Classes

THEORY

Join us to take the terror out of theory. We will cover basic note reading, rhythm, intervals and chord concepts. These will be taught with hands on harp learning. Students gain a better reading foundation and explore arranging tips. There are 2 sessions each month. Each class is $15 for studio members, $20 for non-members, or buy a package of 3 classes for $50.

STRINGING & TUNING

Here students will learn how to care for their harps. Students learn how to tie a string, properly string their harps, basic harp maintenance and how to keep their instrument in tune. Class is 1.5 hours and free, one time, for studio members. Studio members who may wish to take this class again will be charged $15. Non-studio members pay $20 per class.

HARP CIRCLES

Starter Group Class

Starter class for learning to play in a group. We offer these classes frequently. Check the calendar for dates and times.

Aficionado Circle

This is an on-going adult group that works toward a performance schedule which includes retirement communities and local churches.
